Shoes!

Wearing my shoes today!

Rylan has known how to say the word "shoes" for awhile now. Oh I wish I could type how it sounds when he says it, but unfortunately I think that you have to hear it to really understand the adorable-ness. We think the reason he learned the word so quickly is because he needs to have his shoes on to go outside. And outside is pretty much THE coolest thing ever when you are a kid right? Well especially now that we actually have a little yard and when it rains there are a few puddles that he can splash around in. And since I started gardening, one of Rylan's absolute favorite things to do is ungarden! And then there are all the boards in the backyard that are for finishing the remodel, my dad built a little balance beam course for him that he absolutely loved. He laid four long boards ontop of a rock to make 4 little ramps for Rylan to balance on. Definantly something I wouldn't have thought of (it seems kinda dangerous) but I am glad my Dad did!

Held my hand from the stroller on our walk!

We just got back from an evening walk a little bit ago and Rylan did something that just melted my heart! We Matt was pushing him in the stroller and I was walking next to them, he reached out for my hand and held on tight to one of my fingers for at least 5 mins of the walk. What a lovable boy :)

Then when we got home he was so proud of himself when he climbed back into his stroller after I took him out when the breaks weren't on then put the tray back up over his legs. He has just the cutest proud of himself grin!

Helped Clean Up Spilled Milk!

Today Rylan learned how fun it is to tip his Tippy cups upside down and make designs on the floor with his milk. When I told him to stop, he gave me his usual scowl that seems to mean "why are you always ruining all my fun mom?"I started to clean up the mess with a towel but it quickly started filling up and soon was sopping, I ran over to the laundry room to grab another towel, and when I got back, Rylan was trying to keep cleaning up his mess with the sopping wet towel! I swear there isn't a second that he doesn't get smarter!
